All vocational qualifications are composed of units of learning outcomes. Competence requirements are the same in all learning environments. Students demonstrate their skills in competence demonstrations at practical work.
General requirements for access to higher education
Both general upper secondary school certificates and vocational education certificates give formal access to higher education.
The admission to higher education is under the jurisdiction of higher education institutions.
