General requirements for access to higher education

The Diploma of Vocational Secondary Education (Diploms par profesionālo vidējo izglītību) entitles a graduate to continue studies in any higher education program in Latvia. It is issued together with a Statement of records (Sekmju izraksts) and General Secondary Education Certificate (Vispārējās vidējās izglītības sertifikāts). Specific admission requirements (exams, entry tests, etc.) may be requested by higher education institutions.
